Just added to the store today . . . the Honey B Journal Book is great for a memory book, photo album, recipe book or whatever you choose to use it for. Here’s a look at the kit and some page ideas from my sample made today.
If you are a member of my private Facebook Group, you’ll find a FREE GIFT file I added today for creating a Bookmark and Belly Bands to go with the Journal.
To create the belly band, simply add score tape to the end tabs and wrap them over to the back of the page, before you add to the journal and close it up.
For a pocket page, I’ve allowed for several in the book, be sure and add a strip of score tape to one side of the opening, to create the pocket, as seen below. This page has a pocket on both sides. I’ve added the score tape strip just above the cut opening.
Here’s a look at some of the special pages I created in my sample . . . and FYI . . . I created 12 pages for this book.
Below . . . add a brad to the cut out journal blank then attach to the page before you close up the page.
Below I’ve used the tabbed index cards as journal blanks and inserted them into another pocket I created in the page.
Last but not least . . . here is the front cover inside and the cover . . .
For the cover I’ve fussy cut the elements twice, adding extra depth to the cover.
You’ll find complete step-by-step instructions inside the kit download with some other page ideas. I just thought I’d share some with you today. As with all my journals, these page ideas will work on most any kit.
