Here’s another fun pumpkin to make using your Cricut Cutting Machine. You can find a link to the cutting file for the project just below. Easy to make, just cut the files and glue together!
Materials . . .
- tacky glue
- Vintage Photo distressing ink (optional)
- bronze colored glitter glue (optional)
- Cricut Metallic Poster Board – copper & gold
- CTMH Glitter Cardstock – gold
- Michaels Metallic Cardstock – dark brown
- Green cardstock
Fold the solid copper pumpkin shape in half down the center. Cut the glitter cardstock pumpkin shape, with cut-outs, in half then cut on the line so that you have two parts. Glue each part to the left and right sides of the copper pumpkin shape. Glue in the extra scroll parts that were cut out till it looks like the above image.
Repeat for all four pumpkin shapes. Now glue the shapes to each other to create the pumpkin.
Add the stem shapes as seen below. Note: You will have to cut a small square to cover the top of the stem as it isn’t in the cut files.
Use distressing ink around all edges of the pumpkin shape and all leaves.
Glue some leaves and scroll shapes together. Add bronze glitter glue down the center of the green leaves.
Add the leaves and scroll shapes to the top of your pumpkin.
There you go …… pretty glittery pumpkins! Make several adjusting the size of the cutting files for a grouping. Alter the paper colors as well. Great on a shelf, for a table centerpiece or buffet decoration.
Till next time ….. Happy Crafting!
