This month I’ve been working on some Halloween projects for our fireplace mantle. The following projects are simple to create and loads of fun. You can alter them easily to fit your own theme as well. Check out the sources listed and give some of these a try!
Finished size is about 5″ tall by 15″ wide. Size can easily be adjusted by sizing the images in the Cricut Design Space file (title link above). Change the letters to create any word or group of words you like!
I’ve used Bazzill cardstock for the boxes, random patterned cardstock for accent papers and Bazzill dotted black cardstock for the letters. Accents like the bat, cat and such, in glitter cardstock, can be found inside design space.
I love the design of this lantern! You can easily change it up by using only one or all of the cutout designs included in the files. Easy construction makes this a quick project and as a bonus they have included a printable file for the vellum so you can get the spooky yellow/orange color!
I’ve used Bazzill black and dotted cardstock then distressed it with a white ink. Flat back pearls add a metal look.
Inside you will find my fave LED battery operated candles! In the file I’ve cut a circle in the bottom so that the finished lantern simply slides over top of the candle. They last a long time and you simply need access to the bulb which you push down to turn on or off. Or you can use the included remote control with a timer!! A plus is that the bulbs can be colored with alcohol ink should you want a specific color of light.
These jars are super easy to make up and can be used for any theme you want. Just change up the colors and labels as needed. You can easily resize the files for larger or smaller jars as well.
Once again I’ve used Bazzill cardstocks and the white ink. The labels come from one of my printables kits: Potions while the skull is from Cricut Design Space.
And check out this fun lamp!
From SVGCuts.com this was designed as a Christmas project. Using black cardstock and some spooky accents, it’s now a Halloween decoration! Bats and skeleton were from Cricut Access images as well as the spider webs. It’s hard to see but I’ve placed a couple webs inside the light area so they show when lit.
So there’s some fun ideas to get you started ….. watch for more coming soon!
Have a spooky day!
