Prepare the files inside Cricut Design Space . . .
Now that you have prepared the files, proceed with cutting all of the pieces. When finished you will want to begin by constructing the frame.
Refer to my Paper Frame Tutorial for instructions then return to this post.
Now that your frame has been constructed, let’s begin make the quilt block. From Cricut Design Space, use the JPG block image and make a print and cut. The quilt block will actually be constructed on top of this print and cut image. Begin by covering the entire block in score tape – or you can glue each piece of the block on one by one.
Glue the three blue squares together being careful to line them up as perfectly as possible. Attach to the center of the block. With these pieces attached, working around the square, begin to apply the remaining pieces.
When all pieces have been attached, turn the block over and trim the edges if any cardstock has gone beyond the printed block backing.
Now you can attach the quit block inside it’s frame!
I hope you enjoyed this quilt block and that you will return for the April one. I’m looking forward to a bonus project once the May block has been added to the store so keep an eye out for that soon.
