Create this FUN and EASY “Ode To Poe” diorama in your choice of full scale (1:12) or half scale (1:24). Both beginners to advanced will learn and complete various techniques such as: making bricks with foam board, creating texture with grit paste, working with landscape materials to create easy moss and ground cover, dry- brush painting, and aging materials. This diorama will make a great Halloween project!
Everything seen in the photo/s will be included in the kit/s, plus a couple of surprises. Note there will be a slight difference in the fence depending on kit scale chosen (1:12 fence is plastic, 1:24 fence is laser cut wood in a similar style). Construction is the same no matter the scale chosen.

MATERIALS SEEN IN THE KIT PHOTO ARE INCLUDED IN THE KIT PLUS A FEW SURPRISES

• Materials needed for class:
  Please bring the following materials/tools to class.
  Small cutting mat and craft knife
  Wax paper to protect work surface
  Small piece of aluminum foil rolled into a ball
  Hot glue gun
  Tweezers
  Fine grit sandpaper (small piece)
  #2 pencil sharpened
  Metal edged ruler (12″)
  Quick dry tacky glue (or your favorite glue)
  Clamps or wide rubber bands
  Folk Art Acrylic Paint: white, black, dutch aqua
  Deco Art Metallic Paint: copper (or any copper color acrylic paint

Techniques included: carving foam board, wood constructions, dry-brush painting, aging, landscaping, working with grit paste (grit paste is included in the kit.)

FINISHED DIMENSIONS: 1:12 = 8-1/2”w x 3-1/2” x 7-1/2”h 1:24 = 4-1/4”w x 1-3/4”d x 3-3/4”h
