Thanks from the bottom of my heart to all who stopped by my table and supported me at the Chicago Spring Showcase of Miniatures recently!!! I had a fantastic show, so much more than I could ever have expected!!
My next show will be in Indianapolis, IN. September 19th. Hope to see you there!!
For those who missed out on items sold out on the first and second day, most of those items are now available in my blog shop and will soon be available in my Etsy shop (around June 1st).
**Just a heads up . . . I currently have only one Cabinet Cottage and Timekeeper’s Cottage kits available. It will likely be a couple of months before I add more to the shop due to other commitments.

Also, the roombox kits sold out the first day, but I’m making more for the shop in the next two weeks. I loved the feedback and requests I received from everyone and will be adding new roombox kits in 1:12, 1:24, and 1:48 scales! If you missed them . . . these are single kits that can be mixed and matched as you like. Bases are like a box with an open back allowing you to drill a hole where needed, then feed wiring through so you and easily reach the on/off switch and change the light battery. You can then purchase a base accent design from: a simple frame, bats, or webs that wrap around three sides of the base. Finally, you can purchase a wall kit that contains one plain wall and one wall with a window in it. Window design choices are: a simple rectangle, a Gothic style, or a round web style.

If you are wondering . . . I colored the plastic in the window with Alcohol inks! Once the plastic was glued in place, I used the ink dropper bottle to fill each section and let it dry. Super easy way to get a stained glass look! I will be adding more of these types of kits to my product line in the future, so keep watch on the blog if you are interested! Feel free to leave comments below letting me know what styles and sizes you would like to see!!!
The biggest surprise seller at the show were the mini house keychains I made up on a whim lol. The flew off the table within the first hour of the show! Next time I will have a LOT more of these available! Sorry to not have a photo for you but I will have them in my store soon for you to see! They make great gifts for your mini friends!!!
Now …. on to a little look at my small shopping spree . . . most were purchased for a 1:12 project I will be doing later in the year.

My absolute favorite was the little Potion bottle with the face and cute buck teeth! If you have not checked out Michael R Robbins works …. DO SO! He has some fantastic Halloween items with the cutest little faces on them. Must have more of these!!!!
If you love modern furniture in full scale, Calico Garden was across from my table where I sat and drooled over everything she had! Her color combinations of wood mixed with 3d printed pieces was spot on!
A few of these pieces were purchased at the Tom Bishop show where we stopped in briefly on Sunday before heading back home. I was so excited to chat with the following artists and see all the goodies they brought to the show. Was so nice to meet again: Robert Crouch, Chris Toledo, and Mike Thomas.
My favorite and most surprising moment of the show was to look up and see Ara Bentley – Bentley House Minis standing in front of my table!!!! For the first time ever in my 68 years I had a rather embarrassing “fan girl moment” lol. Bless you Ara for being so nice and gracious about my acting crazy!!!!!! I look forward to chatting at the Texas Mini Show in June. (Hopefully she will not run and hide when she sees me coming her way lol).
So that’s it for catching up. It’s back to work for me making things for the Indy show and working up a project for a class at Indy and on NAME Create! Watch my blog for more on those two things coming.
Happy Mini Making
Teri
