Make a Snowpkin
Earlier I created a large pumpkin for a centerpiece using the "Harvest Sunsrise" kit from SVGCuts. During the process I had an idea to use the same file but create a snowman using three pumpkins. After three days and a bit of trial and error, here's the finished project. I simply love how it turned out! Materials list .. . . . Cricut white cardstock (lots lol) Anna Griffin ... View Post
Light the Way
Nothing is prettier at Christmas time than a room or mantle lit up with candles. I use them all year long but double them up for the holidays placing them all around the house. In the next month or so you will notice them popping up in my photos of projects but for today I'm making some lovely lamps from SVG Cuts. Purchased last year, I never got around to making them and decided this year they ... View Post
Cricut Cuts Chipboard
Hi Everyone! Just wanted to make a quick post here to show you the Cricut Maker at work! I'm making a test cut to see how well it does with the Medium Weight Chipboard that I've been using for years. This chipboard comes from Graffix and the weight is listed as: 1.4mm or .057". It's white on one side and brown on the other side. Great for painting by the way. As you can see from the video ... I've tried to list details for files and process but if you ... View Post
Heirloom Christmas Tree
One of the best "free with purchase" finds I ran across this year was the Heirloom Christmas Tree by SVGCuts. I'm not sure if it's still available as a free with purchase or not but if not, it's still well worth the few dollars it costs! If it looks intimidating, don't fret! Just hop on over to SVGCuts.com and watch the assembly video for the project. Your cutting machine does all the work and ... View Post
Cricut 3D Snowflake Project
Someone asked me for help on how this snowflake in the Cricut Design Space was constructed. As promised here's a look at the one I made today along with some tips. As mentioned in the video, I liked the extra piece added to the very center to give the ornament more dimension. Without the extra pieces on the oposite side (as seen below) this would make a pretty package decoration or project ... View Post
Winter Cheer Chalkboard
Happy Monday! This week I actually managed to make a quick project on "Monday" lol. By now you must have noticed that "Monday Quick Projects" has been changed to "Weekly Quick Projects" (grin). It seems no matter how hard I try to do something on a specific day .... it just never seems to happen. So this week I have a "trash-t0-treasure" kind of project for you. If you use ... View Post
