The Lighthouse Project 8

So I’m now down to the Living Room and have been dressing some of the furniture pieces.  Here’s a look at what I have so far . . .

Most of these items were purchased and then added together.  I did however make about half the books and all of the magazines using printables I found online.  Don’t you just love the Starfish accents!

Desk dressed . . .

One more update to the kitchen . . . printables found online were used to create a clock and picture.

For the room I added a wallpaper border to the walls . . .

and created some art for the walls . . .

Wall art is super easy to create!  Just find some images online that go with your decor, print and glue to a piece of chipboard.  You can then either frame them or as I’ve done, paint the edges white and with a ball end tool, make creases to create faux boards that have been painted on.

Last but not least . . . the finished bookshelf!

And here’s the room with all the furniture in place.  Drapes were made using the printable fabric paper and trim.

So now that all of the rooms are finished I’ll be working on the final part of the outside and hiding all of the wires.  Be sure and watch for the final part of the build post and I’ll be back soon!
